About Simon Dubock

As a museum volunteer with MERL, Simon Dubock further honed his teaching skills as a classroom assistant, as well as working with visitors to the museum and answering questions posed by them. He began this role as a photo archivist and also assisted with a number of events.

Simon Dubock has a passion for travel, with some of his favourite destinations including New Zealand, the Caribbean Islands and Australia. His zest for life also includes a varied interest in sports.  These range widely from the normal Premier division football (Manchester United), rugby, snooker, fishing, birdwatching and gardening.

Simon Dubock has supported the WWF and RSPB for numerous years.

Simon Dubock enjoyed being a volunteer at a Museum. Simon Dubock further honed his teaching knowledge as a classroom assistant.  As well as working with many visitors answering their unending questions he has gained social skills by interacting with them at numerous events.

Simon Dubock has worked on the Young Enterprise Programme; this involved tutoring and mentoring students up to GCSE Business Skills. This entailed aspects of Business Management.  To ensure accuracy an official teaching qualification was successfully gained.

Simon Dubock holds a City & Guilds PTLLS Level 4 Certification. He is a keen volunteer for numerous charities and organisations.

Simon Dubock successfully completed a training programme to assist the ‘Move-On’ charity which aims to tackle homelessness and vulnerable people.
